Ardennes-Etape enjoyed yet again some media attention. This time the Clé sur porte television crew set out to the Ardennes to shoot an astonishing holiday cottage.
And the visit was absolutely worth their trouble. Scheduled for the day was this holiday home in Jalhay, at the edge of the breath-taking nature park of the High Fens. In such cases we prefer to let the photographs speak for themselves. But a short explanatory word is just as well in place.
Sauna and Jacuzzi
Outside in summer you enjoy the swimming pool. Inside in winter you get comfortable around the open fire. The living areas are tastefully decorated, with walls and ceilings finished in wood. The dining room has some very impressive vaults.
The perfectly equipped kitchen is an excellent spot for groups to cook the most delicious meals. A piece of advice: you should buy the ingredients from local traders or at the Sunday morning market. As a bonus, for the enthusiasts, there are a sauna and an outdoor Jacuzzi. All is provided for a delightfully relaxing moment in the Belgian Ardennes.
Ardennes-Etape is market leader in the Belgian Ardennes in self-catering holiday home rental. The selection consists of 1400 high-quality houses, ranging from cosy two-person chalets to luxury villas for 45 holiday-makers.
It is by no means Ardennes-Etape’s objective to take up all available holiday homes in its selection. It is, however, Ardennes-Etape’s number one priority to offer, at all times, the highest quality. That means every house is subjected to the toughest criteria and that, quite often, holiday homes are rejected.
Ardennes-Etape and the Media
The media see Ardennes-Etape ever more as the leading authority on high-quality tourism in the Belgian Ardennes. Clé sur porte, RTBF, Huizenjacht, VTM Nieuws… They all seem to find the way to Ardennes-Etape as the number one expert on the region of the Ardennes.
